Versteeg Reportedly Acquired by Flyers

Slam! Hockey is reporting the Philadelphia Flyers have acquired Kris Versteeg from the Toronto Maple Leafs for 2 draft picks including the Flyers’ 2011 1st round pick.

Versteeg, 24, is a versatile forward who has notched two 20-goal seasons in the NHL.  Both were with the Chicago Blackhawks.  He was also a member of last season’s Stanley Cup-winning Blackhawks squad, that defeated the Flyers in 6 games.
