LaSalle defeated Malvern Prep 3-0 in an outdoor game at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia as part of the Winter Classic festivities.  This was a rematch of the 2011 AAA Flyers Cup Final.  In the Flyers Cup final, LaSalle won 3-2 in overtime.  They overcame a 2-0 deficit in the 3rd period to prevail.

LaSalle has won 3 of the last 4 AAA Flyers Cups.  Malvern Prep won 5 straight AAA Flyers Cups from 2001 to 2005.
